The Nestlé leverages the global dimension of Nestlé and its capacity to give sound interna¬tional experience to high potential professionals in different functions at an early stage in their careers. Market level Management trainees after spending a minimum period of 3 years in the market subject to high performance and potential get an opportunity to apply for the program. Selected individuals go through a 24 month program with six months spent in a SBU (Strategic Business Unit – Culinary, Confectionary, Dairy etc.) in Vevey followed by 18 months in another market in Field Sales or Marketing. Post this, they either return to their home market or get an opportunity to work in another market.

Young Talent Development Program

It is Nestlé’s offering to develop our young talent at an early stage in their career in a focused way through a comprehensive mix of Experience Based, Relationship based and Education based interventions. This is to accelerate their learning and strengthen the development of core leadership skills with professional capabilities that are essential to our business.

The YTDP program is for a period of 12 months and has key talent handpicked across the region participating in it. As part of the program, the participants undertake projects that are critical to the business / function in which they operate. Participants are assigned Mentors who are Senior Managers from another function to further hone their leadership skills. In addition to these, participants also get an opportunity to attend leadership workshops and relevant functional training.
