Insect in Nestlé Lactogen, India

We are aware of media reports that a consumer in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has reported finding an insect in a pack of Lactogen. We have immediately contacted the consumer but at this stage, we haven't been able to visually verify the complaint as the consumer hasn't shown us this pack.
We always take consumer complaints very seriously and investigate them thoroughly. Our analysis of the batch to which this pack belongs confirmed that the product meets our high quality standards.
We have not received any other complaints related to this product batch.
Our manufacturing technology excludes the possibility of insects living and surviving in the sealed package in which this product is sold. Shortly before the package is sealed, any remaining oxygen is completely removed as part of the manufacturing process to maintain the product's freshness and nutritional value.
The quality and safety of our products are non-negotiable priorities for our company and we have in place strict food quality and safety procedures at the different stages of our manufacturing and storage processes.
