My internship at Nestlé was an enriching and insightful experience that provided me with valuable exposure to real-world corporate practices. The structured learning approach, guidance from my mentor, and the collaborative work environment helped me develop both professional and interpersonal skills. Working on my project enhanced my understanding of practical HR processes and strengthened my analytical and problem-solving abilities. I am truly thankful to my mentor for their constant support, encouragement, and constructive feedback throughout the internship.
My internship at Nestlé was a highly enriching and rewarding experience. It provided me with valuable exposure to real-world industry practices, teamwork, and professional standards. The guidance and support from my mentors helped me enhance both my technical knowledge and soft skills. Working on my project allowed me to apply my academic learning in a practical environment, making this internship a truly memorable and impactful journey.
As a Nestern in Corporate HR, I worked on extensive D&I benchmarking across a comparator basket of six Indian industries and a classification framework based on extent of market adoption. I thus got exposure to the various D&I pillars and practices at Nestlé India, how the company moves beyond policy-framing to strategically tracking the real-time impact of its D&I measures, and how the leaders continue to attach sincere importance to D&I despite global pushback. Grateful to my mentor Chetna Maan for her sweet, patient lowdowns and to Nestlé India for this learning opportunity.
