Across the CERELAC portfolio, We strictly adhere to regulations and standards set by Regulatory bodies (Both FSSAI and BIS) on Infant food products. We also adhere to CODEX standards on Added Sugars.

We would like to assure you that we never compromise and will never compromise on the nutritional quality, safety and compliance of our products. Our infant cereals are manufactured to ensure the appropriate delivery of nutritional requirements such as Protein, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, Minerals etc. for early childhood. We transparently declare ingredients and all nutrients under the nutrition content on our packs, including added sugars, total sugars as well as carbohydrates and energy.

The level of added sugars that we add to our infant food recipes is well below the prescribed level set by CODEX and FSSAI both. Reduction of added sugars is a priority for Nestlé India. Over the past 5 years, we have already reduced added sugars by up to 30%, depending on the variant. We regularly review our portfolio and continue to innovate and reformulate our products to further reduce the level of added sugars, without compromising on nutrition, quality, safety and taste.

Nestlé India is committed to deliver age-appropriate nutrition solutions, which we have been doing for over 100 years and we are confident of the nutrition, quality and safety of our products

Added Sugar in our products comes from directly added sugars and small amounts as carryovers from cereal, fruits etc.
