Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurates E-Library at Mashobra, Shimla

~Nestlé India helped put together the E-library with 10 computers for readers. ~

An E-library has been put together in Mashobra, Shimla with help from Nestlé India. The Company has provided 10 desktop computers and additional furniture as a part of its CSR initiative. The institution was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The event was also graced by Shri Anirudh Singh, Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Talking about the initiative, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, said, "Education and awareness are the foundation of a progressive society, and libraries play a vital role in nurturing both. We appreciate Nestlé's contribution towards this important cause. By bringing together books and digital learning through computers, this library creates a space where knowledge, curiosity, and opportunity can flourish."

Shri Himmat Singh, Director, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability and CSR, said, "At Nestlé, strengthening communities is one of our core CSR priorities. A library is more than just a building – it opens doors to knowledge, awareness, and opportunities. Through initiatives like these, we remain committed to making a meaningful and lasting contribution to the state."

The library is located at the Block Development Office (BDO), Mashobra, and is accessible to all.
