Nestlé India Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 780.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 643.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. Gross Revenue has increased from Rs 5849.90 million in Q1-04 to Rs 6203.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.
Mr. Martial Rolland, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company stated, "I am satisfied with the direction in which the Company is moving. The recently launched MAGGI Vegetable Atta Noodles that has been well received by consumers is an example of these efforts."
